As a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Robert (Tito) enjoys a distinction bestowed upon only 15% of today’s practicing orthodontists. His unique background in engineering provides him with distinct advantage in mastering the forces, vectors, and movements inherent in performing orthodontic treatment. His background in material science allows him to stay on the cutting edge of the latest technological advances in orthodontic techniques and products.
In 1998, upon returning from a three-year stint in the United States Air Force as Chief of Orthodontics at Misawa Air Base in Japan, Dr. Norris’ vision of Stone Oak Orthodontics materialized.
Dr. Norris is a world-renowned speaker and teacher of orthodontics, and has lectured throughout the United States and Asia. His scientific papers have been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, as well as Clinical Impressions. Dr. Norris is a member of 10 different professional dental and orthodontic associations and is the dental expert for San Antonio's WOAI News 4. These days, Dr. Norris and his wife, Simone, are enjoying their proudest accomplishment, which are their three children: Claire, Preston, and Rachel.
